Why we gather

Nearly four decades of camp

By the grace of Almighty God the Assembly Youth Camp was started in 1987. On the initiative of a few Christian Brethren Assemblies in Chennai, the first camp was held between 27th and 31st December 1987. For many years now it has been a co-ordinated effort of both the Adambakkam and Madipakkam Christian Assemblies. Praise be to God for His grace and favour through all these years.

Our aim

To help youths understand that they need to set a godly example, as their lives influence others.

To encourage, motivate and equip young hearts and minds with God's Word, and help them achieve improved spiritual maturity in their personal lives.

To counsel youngsters and guide them in the problematic or struggling areas of their practical life, and to direct them to the Lord — so that they might use their life, inherent talents and abilities ultimately for Him and His church.

To offer youngsters an opportunity to grow and be moulded into spiritually mature role models at home, in church and in society.

To present the gospel to the unsaved, to guide them to become children of God, and to lead them into the care of the leaders of their assemblies.

AYC 2027

Who can attend, and how to register

Boys and girls from 14 to 22 years of age (as on 31 January 2027) are eligible to register for AYC. Speak to your assembly elders, or register online.

Important. Registration is confirmed ONLY after the signed form and assembly seal are received. On-spot registrations are not entertained — please register in advance. Fully filled forms must be received at Madipakkam Christian Assembly on or before 26 Dec 2026. The camp runs from 14 Jan 2027 (4 PM) to 17 Jan 2027 (2 PM).
